VENUE U19, U17: Talihalli, Huopalahdentie 28, 00350 Helsinki U15, U13, U11: Campo Sport Center, Latukuja 2, 01280 Vantaa DATES OF THE EVENT Friday 9th December 2011 to Sunday 11th December 2011 EVENTS Menʼs and womenʼs singles, menʼs and womenʼs doubles and mixed doubles. Number of players/pairs accepted for the tournament: 64 in singles and 32 in doubles and 48 in mixed doubles. CATEGORIES U19 (Official Badminton Europe Junior Circuit Tournament) U17, U15, U13 and U11 (Finnish Junior Elite Tournament) ENTRIES The entries must reach Helsingfors Badminton Club by e-mail (fijc@hbc-badminton.com) no later than the 18th of November 2011. All entries must be confirmed by the relevant National Association. The Member Association that enters a player into a Circuit tournament is responsible for paying the entry fees for that player. The Organizer will acknowledge all entries. Entries must be shown in order of player strength. No late entries will be accepted. Please observe that according to new regulations (Oct 2011) all players in U19 need to have a BWF-number in all entries. It is required that every event has at least 8 competitors (i.e. actual competitors, not merely entries). If the required number of competitors is not met, the Junior Circuit tournament is cancelled by written notice of BADMINTON EUROPE no later than the day after receipt of entries. Please observe that as U17 and U15 are played in different halls, no player can participate in both of these two categories. CLOSING DATE 18th of November 2011 VISA Member associations must apply their VISA (if needed) in time. If you have problems with VISA, contact Finnish consulate in your country for more information. SEEDING AND DRAW Will be made by the Badminton Europe Confederation (U19) and the organizing committee (U17-U11). ENTRY FEES The entry fees are in U19 tournament: Euro 32.00 in singles (shuttles included) Euro 40.00 per combination in doubles (shuttles included) PRIZES The entry fees are in other categories: Euro 22.00 in singles (shuttles not included) Euro 30.00 per combination in doubles (shuttles not included) For winners and runners up. The Prize ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon. ADVERTISING AND CLOTHING The Finnish International Junior Championships will be conducted according to the BWF general competition regulations 19-23 on advertising and clothing. In applying these regulations the decision of the Referee shall be final.
